YOU HEARD? Tickets & Info

May 7, 8, 9, and 10 at 7:30pm!

The Riverside Theatre

91 Claremont Avenue, Manhattan

Kai loves music. He performs on the street and in the subway to share his songs (and make some money). Now he wants to capture the voice of his generation by capturing the reality of his friends’ lives in a song. As he delves into the fray, he witnesses loss, bullying, violence, abuse, sexism, and other obstacles facing young people. Will he find the words and the melody to redeem their experiences? Or will he give in to the injustices he sees and fail to create anything at all?

The Possibility Project is proud to present YOU HEARD?, an original musical drama written and performed by a diverse group of NYC youth from their lived experiences. Since October of last year, our young people have gathered every Saturday to discuss, debate, act, dance, and sing about the most serious issues they face in their lives and their ideas for change. Soon, all of their hard work will be put on stage at The Riverside Theatre, 91 Claremont Avenue in Manhattan near Columbia University. Take the 1 train to 116th or 125th.
