Join our Saturday Program!

The Possibility Project is currently holding auditions for youth – ages 13 to 19 – who want to be a part of our Saturday Program. The auditions are held in groups and are non-competitive. They consist of simple acting, dancing, and singing activities. No one is chosen on the basis of talent. We are looking for youth who want to share their story with others, learn to change the world, and create an original musical from their lives and experiences.

The Saturday Program will bring together up to 60 youth who will learn to build relationships across differences, examine oppression, resolve conflicts, engage in community action, and lead while undergoing training in acting, improvisation, movement, dancing, voice, singing, and playwriting. Together, this cast will write and then perform an original musical from their stories for four nights Off-Broadway in May 2026.

Rehearsals will take place at East Side Community High School at 420 E. 12th Street (between 1st and Avenue A in the East Village) on Saturdays from 10:30am-5:30pm starting October 11, 2025 and finishing on June 20, 2026.

If you are a school or organization, you can schedule an audition for your youth at your site. Just send an email to Paul Griffin at paul@the-possibility-project.org, or fill out our google form HERE.

If you are an individual youth, you can attend one of our Open Auditions taking place at The Possibility Project office at 377 5th Ave, 6th Floor, 10016. Located near the Empire State Building between 35th and 36th st.
